Hi! I'm Amanda
I'm a homeschooling mother of three. I was born and raised in the Opelika, Alabama area, graduated from Beauregard High School, and married my high school sweetheart (aww!). My husband serves as the pastor at Concord Baptist Church in Salem, AL.
I primarily serve the communities surrounding Auburn and Opelika, Alabama, but also regularly work with families and couples across the Southeast. I am available for travel to document your wedding, so feel free to reach out no matter where you are!
How it all started...
My interest in photography started 15+ years ago in high school, but my husband gave me my first DSLR camera in 2010. I immediately started reading and watching everything I could find to learn how to use it. Shortly after that, I started taking photos for family and friends, eventually starting a business. From 2016 to 2020, I took a break from the business while our children were toddlers. I'm excited to be back serving our community by documenting your life and love stories!
How it all started...

In 2015, when my husband answered the call to ministry and we had two toddlers, I let the business aspect go. In June of 2021, the Lord allowed me the opportunity to start again with the business side of things, and I'm very excited to be back behind my camera and serving our community by documenting your life and love stories!
What I love...
I love getting to build a relationship with my families and couples in a way that builds trust and confidence in front of the camera. I love creating images that will stand the test of time and be classically beautiful 50+ years from now. I love snuggles and giggles and documenting sweet moments between you and your loved ones. I love watching your love develop from something new to something weathered and growing with new additions to your family. I love making new friends, and I can't wait to meet you and have you join the Amanda Horne Photography family!
