A Columbus, GA Engagement Session

Engagement sessions are always so much fun! The excitement and love of a wedding day without the stress- what's not to love?! Throw in a sweet couple like Lauren and Ed and the first few days of cooler weather, and it's a recipe for a fantastic, fun Sunday afternoon.

I had the opportunity to meet Lauren and Ed a few weeks ago for coffee and to discuss their wedding plans, and I am so excited to see Lauren's dreams come to life next June! They'll be exchanging their vows at First Presbyterian in Columbus (where Ed's parents got married- so special!), and then their reception will be at the Country Club of Columbus, which is where we started their engagement session.

Ed absolutely keeps Lauren (and me) laughing, so I had to include a couple of the silly images! But he's also so sweet to her. The photo below (to the right) is him checking to make sure we're not about to get hit by a rogue golf ball!

After the Country Club, we moved to the Columbus Historic District. The house Lauren's grandmother grew up in is located on Broadway, which is a gorgeous cobblestone road and was the most beautiful place to finish up their session! I cannot wait to celebrate with this precious couple next summer!
