The Elms of Coosada Engagement Session

I am so excited about this session! This was our third attempt at making it happen after having to reschedule, and Danielle finally suggested scheduling it for the morning to hopefully avoid all these afternoon thunderstorms we've been having. They both got up early and looked absolutely amazing for their session, despite the humid July-in-Alabama morning.

Having their engagement session at the venue they'll be getting married at (next month!) gave us a chance to talk through her plans and find some great portrait locations while we got to know each other. Danielle and Aaron kept me laughing for the entire session. Their playful joy and energy is contagious! Danielle is a photographer as well (I could write a paragraph here about how intimidating I find it to photograph other talented photographers), and you can see more of her work here.

The Elms is a gorgeous renovated 1800s mansion located in Coosada, which is just north of the Montgomery area. Its long driveway is lined by trees covered in Spanish moss and is honestly a photographer's dream. I cannot wait to go back and celebrate with these two in August!
