An October Wedding at Wispering Pines

I've known Jana since middle school, so I was absolutely thrilled when she asked me to be part of her day. Jana and Clay have 5 beautiful children, and they made the day a blast! I love wedding days that set people at ease and let everyone have fun, and that's definitely the day Jana and Clay created for their family and friends! There were so many children running around the property, trying not to get dirty before the ceremony, and striking poses for me all day long. I think I laughed more at this wedding than I have at any other this year.

Jana and Clay chose not to share a first look, so they exchanged notes before the ceremony instead. It was such a sweet way to connect with each other while still maintaining a traditional first look during the ceremony.

Jana's daughters each played a part in the day. They were so much fun to photograph and play with and the littlest danced all night long! I couldn't believe she stayed awake for the entire reception after such a long day.

After walking his daughter down the aisle, Jana's father officiated their ceremony.

After some sunset portraits, Jana and Clay shared a first dance with each other and with their parents. They also included all of their children in a special dance! After they cut the cake, there were so many toasts from family and friends. I think every one of them mentioned how Jana and Clay are givers. Each of their loved ones relayed stories of how Jana and Clay have encouraged and supported them in so many different ways. It was obvious that their love for each other goes beyond their own home and touches so many lives.

The toasts were followed by dancing (no one could out dance the kiddos!) and a sparkler exit!

Jana and Clay, thank you for allowing me to celebrate with you and be a small part of such a beautiful day. I am praying for so many years of happiness for both of you! Thank you to all of the vendors, friends, and family who made it such a fun and easy day!
